The Stags Head Inn

Returned today 23rd Feb and was not disappointed, still the best steak pie we have ever had. What a find what a fantastic charming old school pub, superb friendly staff and superb food, I had the stag mixed grill and it was fantastic, my wife had the beef pie and in her words The best she has ever had all in all a great place to visit and eat would highly recommend and we will return

Excellent food and excellent staff. First visit... but definitely not the last. Load more on the menu .. and dog friendly also.. Thank you for a very nice evening. We visited today with friends for birthday and the Pflugmann was once again excellent. Staff always friendly..

Stumbled upon this place by accident and oh, was it a gem! Great menu, staff totally made the visit even better than it already was. The food was impeccable, good portions and a great choice too. Definitely ask for the pudding menu!

Great restaurant. Welcome, dog friendly. Luckily, he was acting himself. Nice menu selection Food was served well. Time and much hot. Great atmosphere. Photos do not make the food justice lasagna, chicken pizza and hunter chicken

Excellent Sunday dinner and with just less than £10 a head can You don't go wrong good choice of ale too.
