Firstly, the service is good, very friendly very welcoming. We had to queue, which for early on a Monday evening was a surprise, despite it not appearing to be busy. One section by the door was completely empty. I see plenty of positive reviews but unfortunately I was left feeling a disappointed. Perhaps I am just fussy. Whilst the the carvery was quick efficient, I was left feeling underwhelmed. The meat was tasty but there was just not enough of it. Just a single slice of beef turkey, probably 2 x 3 in size. I'm sorry I never got her name she had short black hair, with glasses and a black top on. Lovely food and great colleagues restaurant was extremely busy which is good to see! The colleague at the front of house I feel was tremendous she was greeting customers seating customers taking orders serving food and drinks she is a complete all rounder ! Please look after her and get more colleagues on at your busiest times ...best at your busiest is what makes you stand out ! Lovely welcome upon entering the restaurant, staff are helpful and if you meet Sonia, shes an asset to the company, makes you feel like a VIP every single time. Seating is good and food is top quality, the atmosphere is great and cosey and pricing is low to mid range people will naturally compare this to local pubs offering carvery and you should not do this as this is far superior overall. Parking is plentiful and free of charge too so that's always a bonus. I visit this place several times a month (yes its that good) If you have never been, go....say no more you wont regret it.
