We recently came here for lunch. We have came here in the past and always enjoyed our experience. This time we did not. We got there at 11am when they opened and went to the host stand and asked for a table for 2. The hostess immediately said do you have a reservation and I said no. She said well I need to check and see if there will be enough food for you. We only have enough for people that made reservations. She was very rude and I would also like to point out that no where the door, yelp, google or their website) does it state that you must have a reservation. This tea place was my favorite for years (since 2015) but I haven't been for a couple years until I went this past weekend. I was confused about a couple things until I went on yelp and read some reviews which clarified the pre-fixe tea options they gave us. Normally we would have been able to choose our own tea options, but we were given strawberry kiwi and butterscotch teas, which were still pretty good and I enjoyed it. There were just a couple things that were different that I would have preferred the older way. You would expect to have the option to choose a tea of your liking or at least be offered more than one variety, but that wasn’t the case here. I really don’t understand how that’s acceptable for a tea room. The food was mediocre; nothing stood out as particularly tasty or flavorful. For dessert, we had a plain sugar cookie (really?), some petite fours, and a chocolate mousse cup—everything tasted like it was store-bought. My first time here was actually for a baby shower! The food was pretty good! I wasn't really a fan of the cucumber or chicken salad sandwiches but the pinwheels, and mushroom/cheese were delicious!! They only have fruity teas which we weren't expecting, but they were still pretty good. The service was great. We enjoyed our waitress and the other staff were nice. The only thing is that the layout of the room made it hard for our party to mingle and talk to each other. They connected like 3 tables together to make one long table so the mom-to-be had a hard time talking to us all as she had to constantly turn from one side to the other to try and face/address everyone. This is a charming spot for afternoon tea. However, parking posed quite a challenge. Reservations were necessary, and we were seated right on schedule. The service was efficient, especially if you used the bell provided at the table. The tea we selected was excellent. However, the two pieces of each tea sandwich—smoked salmon with cream cheese, cucumber with cream cheese, and fig with cream cheese—were all sparsely garnished, and the cucumber slices were extremely thin. Additionally, we were served one mini cake and one mini macaroon each. We paid $35 per person, but we left feeling unsatisfied and quite hungry, which made it difficult to consider it a good value for the price.

I've been to Tyme For Tea twice! Both times I haven't had to be the one to make the reservation but I've been told to make a reservation as soon as you can because it can fill up fast. The place is quite cute and having your party dress for the occasion only adds to the tea time ambiance. It's a great place to try different types of teas with little delicious finger foods. My favorite tea is the watermelon hibiscus! We ordered two pots full. Everyone working was so kind! I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I've always had a fantastic experience here! The selection of teas is exciting to explore, and they even have hats available for guests to borrow, which adds to the fun. My only minor issue is that the phone tends to ring a lot. They're usually so busy with customers that it often goes unanswered for several minutes. This might only be a problem for tables close to the phone, though.

We went to the Halloween tea party and had an amazing time! Everyone was in costume, and the tea house was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The food and drinks were not only delicious but also themed for Halloween. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they even held a Halloween raffle. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! This is the ideal spot for tea, where you can don your hat and gloves alongside your grandma and aunts. They serve the finest sandwiches on the most delicious bread. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is exceptional.
