To be clear, this is real Germany, not a tourist area, so I was not expecting that the staff would be totally fluent with my language, English. I was taking a risk visiting a real german restaurant in heartland Germany. The service was excellent and they offered us a version of the menu in English, but the German version had a bigger variety, so we took our changes and had a crack at the German version.... Hey when in Germany.. The food arrived quickly and was excellent, both in quality and quantity. Overall I would give them an 8:10. This is not a five star restaurant, but a good three plus. Certainly recommend and would happily go back, not likely as I would not probably get back to Heilbr...

Convenient place to eat if you are in or near Hotel Newton. Called in for lunch (if you call 3 pm lunch) opted for something fairly light so ordered a wrap. Food came in good time and the wrap huge and served with fries.Staff were friendly and understanding, considering our German language is not as good as their English. The restaurant has a outside seating area with a canopy over which we opted to take as the weather was glorious and you could relax and watch the world go by. overall excellent and would recommend.
even without sauce, the chicken is really delicious and juicy. for only 11 € you get a small salad that you can choose from the buffet yourself. the kartoffel salad is the madness. with half a chicken there was another sauce of your choice (herb butter, chili, barbecue or dijon honey senf) and pommes. the service is also really friendly and fast. I'm still feeling really tired right now. That was a lot. you have to try it. I can only recommend even though you can not eat every day a fat (so tasty). Réservez une table maintenant

For a visit in the week i.o., for a Saturday evening I would look for something else (in particular ambiente does not give much to it)
You can also sit outside if you want to have benefits in your experiment with fried chicken potato frying and salad. The only minus score for the venue is not air conditioning in hot days sitting inside, but the food quality and service was a great salad buffet as if you wait for a long time, I would recommend it in total no matter now
It was bad idea to eat here and order 1/4 of duck with tasty potato dumplings. Duck was not enough baked, it was well done but not crusty as it should be. So called “schmackhaften Kartoffelnknödeln” were not like sponge as should be, but full of water. Not eatable. Red cabbage was good. Simply, bad experience.
