Attended today for the Sunday carvery...have to say the food was very good....the homemade complimentary vegetable soup was delicious....then the chef ... a very friendly young man gave us the choice of four meats...turkey, beef, pork and gammon...I chose the beef and turkey which I...then had lots of veg, cauliflower cheese..carrots..green beans..cabbage..broccoli...all cooked very well...then you get offered roast and new potatoes...Yorkie pud and stuffing...parsnips...liver and onions...gravy...all cooked very well...great achievement chef..... The atmosphere was friendly...the bar staff were helpful...the room was very clean and well organised....will defo be going back...today wasn’t ov...

The pub is charming and the food is delicious, but the only drawback is that if you sit in the bar area, you may have to endure the sound of children upstairs being noisy and disruptive. It can become annoying after a while, so we decided to leave.

Me and my Sister attend the quiz here every Wednesday. It's really good and friendly, and the bar staff are very friendly too. The food is good quality and great value for money too.

Another great meal, lovely staff, landlady is very friendly. Great steaks and salads. Great guest beers for the hubby. Brilliant value for money. What’s not to like. Thank you all

Our local for a few years , moved out of area now but still visit for family get togethers and has great value tasty food.
