Yomie's Rice X Yogurt Munch Co

Among all the various dessert places in Annandale, I think this is one of my favorites! Located in the same plaza as K Market and the Block, it's easy to lose sight of where Yomie's is (it's located on the far side of the plaza, tucked away from the other stores). When I first looked at Yomie's menu, I was blown away by how many unique flavors they had and how many I wanted to try. Mango pomelo sago? Purple rice? Matcha and ube? Sign me up! I got the Strawberry Yogurt and a chocolate mochi donut. The yogurt drink was easily the star of the show. My biggest issues with these drinks is how artificial tasting and sweet they can be. I feel like overall things have gone down a small notch. Prices went up a lil but the drinks itself were less than desired. I still had ice chips randomly in my purple rice yogurt.Tried the yubu set and wasn't impressed but it could be due to our order being wrong (wanted spicy but got the normal flavor instead for the bulgogi).

these drinks are such a treat to me. i love the tartness of the yogurt drinks and the texture of the purple rice. i like getting no sweetness so i can taste the yogurt :

Good food, but the service took so long. We waited 30 minutes for three corn dogs as the only people in the cafe.
