Le Peucher is a real French fish restaurant (other dishes on the menu too). Their bouillabaisse is amazing and MUST be tested. The Soupe de Poisson is also on top. The three course menu costs 18 euros including wine! (year 2017).Book a table, there is a full house every evening.

My partner loved the seafood in this place. The set menu was excellent value and included wine. I had a mixed salad which was 2 plates of food, one veggie and one with meat including pate and salami. The vegetables on the salad had been cooked. Service was good.

The restaurant is packed, the food is perfect, tasty and the service is amazing. Family atmosphere. We have been served by a lovely lady called Maeva, bubbly and smily. I am a restaurant manager in London and quite fussy, so it's nice to have the same standard that I deliver ...while on holidays :). I highly recommend this restaurant. For 17€ the menu you will have more than you pay for.

This place is outstanding. I will say why in 5 points:1) Forget the tourist traps. As an "agathois", I see tourist traps increasing and good restaurants disappearing. This is certainly one of the only REAL LOCAL fish restaurants left. Try some authentic moules farcies before the people who make them disappear and the recipe gets lost....2) It's not posh, and not for posh people. The food comes from the soul, history and passion of the people from this town. The whole crew are utter legends, I actually was lucky to go into the kitchen and get served whilst getting a "spaghetti de la mer" takeaway with friends, one of them was american and never saw anything like it.3) It's amazing for the price, seriously amazing.4) The service is authentic, kinda rough southern french service but it's authentic to the bone, and you will see throughout the meal that it gets better and better.5) To finish the food is not delicate, really tasty and complex, it's quite simple. But simple food like you can't find anywhere else, food that tells a story, food that is GODDAM good! Es boun aquo mai !!!

Came across Le Pecheur purely by chance. It is a little off the main areas of Cap D'agde but as we passed it at lunchtime we noted how busy it was, whereas other restaurants seemed quiet. Judging the restaurant on how busy it was we booked for dinner that evening. Glad we did because it was full and diners were being turned away. The dinner experience was fantastic. Lovely home cooked French food at a very reasonable price which included wine. The service was first class and because we enjoyed the food, the service and the experience we booked it there and then for our last night. Check out this restaurant and you will not be disappointed.

...is available in this town. This restaurant is really more average than expected: Service is attentive but overloaded, 'announced' fish was no longer available (Dorade->Loup), very good is the fish soup, mixed salad with some homemade sausage was not really decorated but more dropped on the dish. Fish was ok, desserts were average. Have been there before during several years but tried to sit outside all the times. Toilette (often a challenge in France) deserve a miserable rating. Scenic view on the beach can clearly not compensate these deficits ... Anyhow reservation is required to have a decent table !

We were looking for some decent sea food and found this place almost by accident-its quite tucked away. We had an amazing Menu du jour for an incredible 17 Euros and in every respect it was excellent including the wine that was included. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall it made for a memorable lunch experience. They do like their garlic which was fine for us but bear that in mind if you are less keen! We did not have a seafood platter but the sight of them was impressive

Excellent value, delicious food and atmosphere... hard to get a seat, booking pretty much essential in season!
