I came here kind of desperate for a quick dinner. And hey what a surprise. Even though they didn’t spoke English, it was possible to get through the order and get the pizza I wanted. And what a pizza! I am really surprised to find such a great place at this location.I even got it with egg… and they made the egg tasty! Not the latex texture style or fright separately and then placed on it… nope right on the pizza and baked together. Just the way I like it.Once again one of the moments that you shouldn’t judge the quality of a restaurant by the location, size or look.If I could, I would order pizza from this place on a regular basis…. But I’m living in a different country so that will be impossible.
While staying at the Ibis I was looking for somewhere close to eat, La Barca was a short walk on the opposite side of the road heading away from the direction of the town centre. The restaurant was very small with only a few tables but I was after a takeaway anyway, the menu is small but with a great selection at very reasonable prices.From ordering to the pizza coming cooked from the wood fired oven was no more than 5 mins and was cooked to perfection. If you're staying in the area then you should visit La Barca.
