This small restaurant is situated at one of the entrances to Courier mall, Annecy. Lovely cakes and always long queues for people wanting to buy something but really too cramped. Maybe it's a European thing where space comes at a premium but not a pleasant experience. The queue runs alongside the tables where one eats and there is no privacy having folk lining up and in your space. Service is slowish.

breakfast was great here. Good quality croissants and crepes. plenty of seating. Good value. COunter service so very quick. Nice coffee. Can take out and eat after a walk to the lake.

I have been going to this cafe for over 2 years and have always received delightful service. However on Saturday the Manager, Adrian Machesse, was serving and refused to give me the customary cup of hot milk I have been ordering for two years. Why? Because it wasn't on the menu! They serve hot milk with coffee but not without. I said he could charge me the same and give me the coffee in a separate cup - nope! Not on the menu - not possible! His staff looked on open mouthed! For the last year they have provided great service to a regular customer and here they witnessed role model dreadful service by their manager. Just incredible and very disappointing.

Really nice choice and delicious cakes we really liked the crunchy bases instead of the usual soggy pastry. The fruit tarts were amazing. Its just inside the shopping centre on Rue Garnot there is also a large monoprix supermarket in there to.

had a break when shopping this morning, but was disappointed by the cappuccino I ordered. machine-made cappuccinos are always touch-and-go, but this was particularly bad and not worth the euro paid. the tartelette framboise was good, but not enough to cut the score above the average.

we ordered a big brioche and the dame that worked there, put the brioche directly into a pocket instead of it in a small paper bag first. we had to tell her a few times before she realized what was wrong. that lasted. a little time. get more professional staff!
