I booked this to go with friends to my man's birthday contract. Once we came in, we were received, and the friendly staff showed us on our table. the menu is brought to it on a chalkboard, and our server explains everything. in English and French. very interesting menu, and my four grois for beginners was delicious, main courses were diverse and included bratox cheeks. the menu of courses is fixed price and is excellent value for money. this place was completely renovated, and away are the kamin and the old fashion furniture. it is now less formal and relaxed. will be back when we visit our house in the opposite

we went with good friends who like to eat in rebenty as much as we do. we came to a warm and welcoming reception and were immediately shown what has become our favourite. we have aperitifs thought as jésus one of the owners. champagne glasses and a bottle of real champagne......what a nice surprise and what a tasty bite! these young really know the meaning of the word hospitable and the rest of our evening was as good as it began. two of us chose the terrain of the foie grass, which was perfectly cooled and served with a homemade apple sauce and slightly roasted brot. as always, the accompanying salad was substantially and beautifully dressed. one of our group chose the vertebrae and another chose the unrolled and damped noodles and both said they were delicious. our main dishes of ragout and hühnerburger with wasabi, recommended by another diner, were all served in style and we all enjoyed our meals. despite being quite full, we all pampered in the beautiful chocolate mousse that was heavenly. we were all relaxed and made us feel very special about didier, jésus and the team, and as always we were among the last to go after the participation of very good Irish coffee. we are always surprised what a wonderful evening at the rebenty had for a very reasonable price. the atmosphere is inevitably congenial and we all talked about when we can go back.

What a fabulous place! We visited Le Rebenty for the first time this evening, a warm Wednesday in late August. Had a problem parking on the road adjacent to the restaurant but that was the only hiccup of the evening! The restaurant car park/lay-by was...very small, enough for four or five cars and so we had to park on a grass verge next to the restaurant with a shear drop to one side! Once inside Le Rebenty we were welcomed by warm, friendly staff, all equipped with face masks in line with Covid regulations. The interior of the restaurant was quirky and cosy and, as we were shown to a delightful, well-appointed table for two, we looked forward to a romantic evening. Our waitress promptly took our order for pre-dinner drinks which were delivered expeditiously, together with a tasty, garlicky emulsion and some fresh bread. One of the chefs appeared with a large chalk board detailing the menu choices and he took time to explain, in both French and English, each delectable option. Once we had made our food selections, we relaxed and enjoyed aperos, observing as the restaurant began to fill up with a variety of clientele: locals; tourists; families; couples. Our starters arrived about ten minutes later and both dishes were generous and tasty. We were not disappointed! It wasn’t long before our main courses arrived we both chose ‘The Williams Burg’: a chicken burger with fries. Our food was well-presented (and served with a smile)..... it was all very fresh, hot and just utterly delicious! The white wine chosen paired perfectly with the flavours of the chicken. We were left alone to enjoy the experience just long enough to finish our food, then sit back and relax. Our waitress was attentive but absolutely knew when to leave us be. We had opted for the reasonably-priced three-course menu but now we were both replete!! The dessert selection looked superb but neither of us had capacity! We have had such a lovely, relaxed evening savouring delicious food, in a convivial, safe, comfortable environment. Thank you Le Rebenty. We will definitely return!

As soon as we knew the Rebenty was reopening after the lockdown we booked a table for us and two of our friends who hadn’t been to the restaurant since the change of ownership. We had a fabulous but safe evening in a beautifully newly...decorated environment. The guys have totally revamped the dining area and it is modern and sophisticated. We were all very warmly welcomed and although the number of diners was limited to comply with the guidance there was still a happy congenial atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service impeccable and for less than euros each we enjoyed aperitifs, canapés, three courses, three bottles of good wine and Irish coffees for the non drivers......excellent value for money. Didier apologized for a slightly reduced menu but we all had what we desired and it didn’t diminish our experience in any way. All the diners were treated with a respect for safety and all of the staff wore masks and maintained the distancing rules. Hand gel was available on arrival and because we all felt protected we enjoyed our evening immensely. Our guests loved the evening and said the meal was superb and the guys were lovely people. The Rebenty never fails to deliver and despite all we have all been through it is still our first choice for an evening out with friends. Well done guys and we are glad you are back.
