I'm not one of those people that whinges about everything. I have high standards but I also am willing to have average food at a cheap price point. This food wasn't overpriced by any means but the quality was absolutely abhorrent. I ordered a chicken caesar salad, possibly the simplest dish to make well. What was served to me was chicken that without a doubt was a few days old or of the most sub-par quality. I understand cooking chicken that day and serving it cold in the salad, shredded up. Instead I was served chicken connected to the gelatinous fat that it had clearly been sitting in for at least a few days. Regardless of getting bits of gelatine in my mouth, the chicken tasted "OLD". Didn't get sick but why would someone pay to eat out when the food isn't fresh? Get your standards up because most people know the difference. Partners pasta in a cream sauce was actually pasta in a thick mountain of melted cheese (and not the good kind). Absolutely shocking for a french establishment in a rural area where the food is normally very appreciated.
