The restaurant is well located close to a walk and a small nice beach. You can lunch while watching the sea. The menu is random and not very existing. It could have been more local putting more fresh meals for choice. The price was ok even if a little expensive. The waitress was nice even if they were not very speed and precise.

staff was very kind with us because we changed twice of tables (because of us).the rosé wine recommended was indeed nice and the French fries better than any restaurant we went the last two weeks. the place is nice because it's not downtown so you can walk to go or around before eating, looking at the beautiful landscape around. the only one thing we didn't really appreciate is the dish for the mussels: it's a porcelain dish with the shape of a boat. it's not appropriate because the mussles come quickly cold so you have to eat them fast. the usual marmite shape is much better but apparently in the South , it's becoming fashion to use the boat plate. the terrace is nice, for lunch or dinner.

Excellent: Food, view, value for money, view, portion sizes, view seafood in particular. Moules and prawns delicious in particular. These can be a bit hit or miss in Bandol , especially on the seafront near mairie. Lou Pescadou is out of town and well worth the trip along the coastal walk there.Very Good: great story: opened next door in what was Le Mediterannean in April 2015. Kitchen caught fire 2 weeks later in May. Reopened in June 2015 in closed up restaurant space of Lou Pescadou next door having done a deal with local council. Thankfully for them the Lou Pescadou has the slightly better view over thepresqu'île du capelan. Good: Service. We visited and they were full and rather rushed off their feet but still the service was good. We waited for a table to be some available in the lounge area (outdoor) and the children were able to order and eat their food while we waited. Good mix of families, groups of friends (guessing) and couples eating out on a Friday night. This lounge area is new and a nice addition. We have been going to this restaurant for years. It was getting a little tired around the edges and the new management are enthusiastic and keen to make it work. Great food : they know their stuff. Not so good: Mosquitos. Make sure you go covers up or doused in anti-mossie stuff if you go in the evening. Don't remember this being such an issue in previous years but there are many more cicadas this year so perhaps the not so cold winter has slowed the drop off rate of mosquito larvae too.

We visited Lou Pescadou some years ago and it was miserable. This year with new owner we had to try it again. We were definitely not dissapointed.Such a change! Nice service, good food and still wondeful vue over the méditerranéen .We did not had anything complicated but the moules were good andserved with a smile.Yes we will surely come back.

not haute cuisine but small frienly simple place about 30 mins walk out of Bandol. on a damp Sunday, the curried mussels followed by the giant shrimps were just what we wanted. With 1/2 carafe of house rose plus 2 coffees, we paid just €62. friendly smiling service. Other customers were French of our retired generation. We will go again

we have been coming here, annually, for a number of years. It surprises us that it does not score more highly among reviewers. iti is not in the centre of Bandol but overlooking a pebbly bay about 30 mins walk around the coast. For many years it had a lively waitress named Marie but she has now retired. Her place taken by another outgoing guy. The €24 menu has a dish of curried mussels as starter and giant grilled prawns as main course. Both delicious and we choose most times we go. on the Sunday we went every table was taken. we shall be back!

This restaurant is lovely placed with a fantastic vue.Lou Pescadou could have been a nice and promising place if it wasn't for thearrogant and negilgant staff. The restaurant has definitelly seen its best years and needs a total refurbishment including management. Please sell the place to someone who knows a little bit of service!Avoid Lou Pecadou in Bandol!

This restaurant is a short walk (about 1 KM) from the centre of Bandol and is right on the coast. We have eaten there many times over the years. In June 2009 we ate once. The lunchtime menus with mussels and a choice of sauces are first class. Marie, the cheerful waitress, is a real joy. Reckon on about EUR 50 inc wine for 2.
