I'm a regular to this fantastic gem of a place Yesterday having ABIT of an anxious moment going for awalk saw this place open ..I thought I go in ..what a welcome from the young beautiful Lizzie she is a great asset to this place omg it shows ..she perfection for this place ...the owner Haydon age 19 yes 19 years old had a well deserved day off I had straw nanna waffle o.g fantastic as normal All I can say if your a holiday maker or a local go and enjoy your experience like me you whont regret more so a new menu coming soon ..I can't wait To the staff a massive hug and kisses xxxandre
Today was our first time visiting this restaurant, despite living just off the high street for 10 years. We had always been hesitant to try it due to negative reviews, but we heard that they recently changed management. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the establishment, the friendly staff, and the delicious food and drinks. Both my husband and I ordered waffles; I had an americano and he had a milkshake. The americano was the best coffee I've ever had, even better than Costa, and it was served piping hot. We will definitely be returning in the future!
This was my second visit here. It was a bit odd as they seem to have closed the coffee shop next door and merged the 2 businesses into the same premises. The result of this, is a mis-match of furniture and no toilet facilities any more. My husband was directed to a toilet down an alley but it was locked. Not very hygienic if you want to wash your hands before you eat! I would have given 1 star but the waffle with Nutella and fresh strawberries that I had earned this place another star.
Popped in for a little treat with our 3 girls around 4pm. We ordeted, kids icecream plonked in a plastic beaker. No offers of sauce or sprinkles! We ordered 2 Malteser milkshakes. One was made, the other was forgotten about. I asked where it was, the boy serving just shrugged. 15 minutes later it came ... nothing remotely like a milkshake, just flavoured milk. Waste of money, shop needs new staff a manager who manages! Can't see this shop lasting much longer. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Lizzie, who I absolutely adore, and the very young manager have truly nailed it at this place. They won best dessert place in 2023. The menu is fantastic, offering a variety of sundaes and waffles. I heard they have a new menu coming soon. Guys, you should definitely try this place, you won't be disappointed.
Nicely tucked away on the high street. Delicious food. Would defo recommend this place. Only thing that bothered me was the wonky table and uncomfortable chairs . Had to be very careful as the drinks were very close to spilling . This may have been felt with so apart from that I would definitely recommend. Staff were very polite .
I'm a local just reasent ..I'm a widow with mental health issues ..been here afew weeks now and so glad I did For me it takes me into a happy place where the staff are friendly and the waffles ..apple pie is just to die for Please keep doing what u r doing thanks ..andre
