Hackethal's - Réservation de table

We showed up to a packed house on Sunday night at 9:15 pm . Even though the kitchen was open till 11 the owner shoed us away and said they were full and there would be no room all night. We offered to wait as long as it would take as the place is kind of out of the way .. He finally relented and sat us at the locals table. Usually kept for regular customers who drop in from the neighbourhood.. He was surly and a bit temperamental at first but eventually became happier as he was overwhelmed by our Canadian charm. In the end he comped us some vodka shots and we had a decent but not outstanding schnitzel dish (with however a side order of sauerkraut that was the best I have ever had).. .. He tu...

I have found this place on TripAdvisor and decided to try some traditional German food. We ordered Christmas goose and Apple Strudel which was absolutely amazing. Service was also very friendly and attentive, explaining us all the dishes and giving us recommendations. Neighborhood is quite...quiet but it's definitely worth the hassle to get there and there is no comparison with German food in the center. Highly recommended little gem!

What a wonderful find. Hidden down a fairly unobtrusive street and looking for all the world like there was little going on at it sprung to life in time to open at and welcome the lucky guests who had booked, which fortunately included...us. We had a fabulous meal. Staff were friendly and helpful and made good recommendations. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a truly traditional German meal.

I wanted to have a traditional German meal whilst in Berlin and found this as a highly rated restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was absolutely delicious, the waiter spoke perfect English and recommended two traditional German dishes for my friend and I to have. They...were both delightful and reasonably priced. Had dinner with two friends in Hackethal today. I had the beef, potato dumplings, red cabbage and red wine gravy. Apfelstrudel for dessert and tasty house beer. Hackethal does real German food that looks and tastes incredible. I was extremely full afterwards. Going to go back for the eisbein very soon.

The food is amazing, we are English and we're taken through the whole menu thoroughly with all our questions explained. The service was even better. Frank and his team go the extra mile to make your evening a truly wonderful experience. LOVE IT

I visited this nice restaurant in Berlín together with my wife and friends. The owner and is friends where nice and the food was really delicious. I think we would like to join this also on our next trip..

This place will not leave you hungry, the traditional German cuisine in combination with their homebrew beer is an awesome combination. Will definitely visit again given opportunity. Réservez une table maintenant

Well kept well run place for some nice home brewed beers and great German food. Loved it/ The beers were good and the food. Friendly service. Those sausages were awesome.
