Although being regular customers, this tea room pastry shop next to the tax centre, always gives us, but for the last time, a certain discomfort! Some days, you are entitled to smile, others you can always go to see you elsewhere. Don't hope to make you serve croissants on the day of a funeral. We have spent almost 20 minutes while the 40-50-year-old was working on the percolator to serve the attrated customers! Not for a moment, she didn't turn around, not for an excuse, nothing! We have of course gone frustrated, unhappy, and we have sworn to no longer put our feet in this place!

My husband and I visited this tea room on Friday 3 June, while on holiday, and ordered 2 cakes and 2 teas to eat in, plus one slice of quiche Lorraine to take-away. The cakes were nice but the teas very small and the place only ordinary and, when we went to pay, we were charged over 30 Euros (and weren't given a receipt.) This seemed a lot but it was the start of our holiday and we were just getting used to the local prices and different currency, so we trustingly paid it. However, when we subsequently ordered cakes and hot drinks at some much posher cafes in 2 tourist spots later on our trip, we were only charged between 13 and 15 Euros each time for a similar amount of food - just half the cost. We think we were conned at this place and would warn any tourists eating here to check what they are being charged and to get a receipt.
