We arrived late, having booked the table for the evening; but were assured of our place after a phone call... Really friendly staff and delicious food... Would definitely recommend!!

Noticed how busy this little brasserie was at lunchtime, when heading into town by tram and made a point to look for it again. Easy to find, located in the middle of Quai Richelieu ...... a street of restaurants and bars across the road from the river. Much quieter early evening. Fresh produce and affordable wine selection.

I found this restaurant using trip advisor. It is a quaint bistro next to the Gironde River. The wine selection was good and affordable. The meal choices all sounded mouth watering. One of us had the lasagna and the other 3 of us the fish special. It was Hake perfectly cooked with some of the best vegetables I had ever had. Amazing meal!!

The waitress was friendly, and the food was tasty. I ordered as an entrée grilled veges with baked Parmesan cheese on top (I forgot what it was called). And tender beef steak grilled on the stick. A red table wine tasted good as well.

It happened to be lunchtime as we strolled past, and a couple at an outside table looked to be enjoying a very nice appetizer of prawns and avocado; so we sat down. Service was instant and it turned out it was prawns and guacamole, but it was fresh, tasty and good value. For a main course we opted for something that looked quite different. Grilled salmon filet and wok-seared Chinese vegetables. It was fabulous. The local white Bordeaux wine was superb and all round this was an excellent meal, great value and very good service.

My colleagues and I were treated to a trip to Bordeaux. The table was booked for us when we arrived - we were late as were coming straight from the airport. We were informed by our host for the night that the restaurant was open exclusively for us, which we thought a lovely touch. The service was polite, always with a smile and there were only 3 people to take care of 24 hungry and thirsty British pub managers. The lady who was waiting on us was doing an amazing job on her own. We were provided with set menu of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts. Nobody from our group had a problem with it and we actually loved the idea and limited choice but well executed. There was only one chef in kitchen and he/she has done an excellent service for us.The food was very tasty, beautifully presented, portions looked smaller but bearing in mind we were having 3 courses, loads of bread and red wine flowing, the portions were even too much. Each bite was heaven in mouth. The whole experience just made us feel welcome in France and this restaurant just reiterated the skill and talent of French hospitality.I cannot comment on value of the dinner as this was treat for us, so somebody else was paying.Well done and thank you guys! We had an amazing time with you...

We had a fantastic family meal at this restaurant. The service was efficient and very friendly with genuine recommendations for the 'menu du jour'. The food was fresh, delicious and extremely well presented with generous portions. So much so that I had to finish off my younger daughter's meal!!!I would definitely recommend this restaurant (on the Bordeaux quayside) if you are visiting Bordeaux. I hate to admit it but it did help that the owner was able to speak fairly good english too!!!
