We came across this little pizza place just by accident. It has hardly any advertising outside unlike the pizza place on the opposite side of the square. Oh but what a find. The owner is a terrific cook and makes his own take on pizza with a French twist. Called Pizza du Monde, the cook has a huge variety of pizza with his own take on what would potentially be on pizza from other countries. Whilst I'm not sure they truly represent those countries it really does not matter because these are the best pizzas I've had in France. The crust is light and crisp and toppings to die for. I think the Pizza Anglaise is the best. It's nothing like English food - thank goodness but it's oh sooo delicious. Not only that his pichet du vin is really good wine - local and well selected. His salads too are really excellent. It's fabulous value for money. You need to sit outside under the arches that surround the town square in this picturesque bastide. If you are in the mood for pizza you could not do better than this. We've taken people from France, England, Mexico and Australia here and they all agree the pizza is great.Tip 1 - Don't be put off by the unprepossessing exterior. The pizza is wonderful!Tip 2 - All the pizza are good but try the Pizza Anglaise - it's to die for.Tip 3 - Ask the owner/cook for recommendations for your wine. It's both excellent value and excellent local wine. Not expensive either.Tip 4 - Try the Roquefort salad - yum!Tip 5 - Probably best visited in spring, summer and autumn because you need to sit outside but the setting in this little bastide is truly delightful.Tip 6 - This place has very little advertising unlike the more upmarket looking place across the square. Don't be fooled by the slick looking place opposite. The pizza there is not in the same league. Was this review helpful? Please tick the box if you found it so.

Now THIS is PIZZA!! Don't plan on finding a seat (or even a place to stand) in this tiny pizza-pie haven but you can certainly shoulder you way in through

There was not much open on the last Wednesday of the holidays with many restaurants closes. We were dubious with this hobson's choice on entry, but the reality is very different. Good food efficient server, reasonable price.

we came across this little pizza place by chance. it has hardly any advertising outside in the opposite to pizza place on the opposite side of the square. Oh, but what a sound. the owner is a great cook and makes his own pizza with french twist. the pizza du monde, the chef, has a large selection of pizza with own taking what could be on the pizza from other countries.
