After driving from the UK, we were pretty shattered and looking for somewhere for an early dinner (6pm) before staying overnight. I had read reviews on this place before leaving so thought we would try it.Very easy to find, right facing the National Police coastguard building. Loads of free parking. We were greeted by the owner who immediately asked if we spoke French. I explained I know very little French, so he said "no problem" and got us the menu. The menu was in French, as you would expect, but had the English translation beneath each item. We were the only people in the place, and the owner was both cooking and waiting on tables. The menu is typically French, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and steaks. My wife chose to have a warm goats cheese salad, and I chose the rump steak with a peppercorn sauce. All ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. The steak was a delight and the portion size was incredible. For dessert, my wife had crepe and I had ice cream. Again, superb quality. The meal was rounded off with a large, local beer and a couple of glasses of wine.the bill came to just 44 EuroBy the time we left at about 7.30pm, the place was buzzing. The owner was sat outside enjoying a beer with friends, a barman was busy serving drinks and chef was cooking and a young lady was waiting on the tables. The owner was very attentive and very polite. A great ambassador for the restaurant. We are planning another short trip before Christmas, and Le Petit Baigneur is definitely top of our list for dinner
