I do not like make negative review but this place, unfortunately, deserve one.we selected this place because it is part of Maitre Restaurateur association where is is made in-house.Sunday lunch. outside tables are full or booked. we take a table inside.2 staff only on the floor trying their best in a professional way to serve customers.it took 1 h to get our order landing on the table.overall the food is too pretentious. a complex mix of flavors that are not delicious.only the dessert was delicious.too many customers for not enough staff.dishes too complex and not that savory.so i do not recommend this place at all.

If you want to taste delucious French food and you are around you should really stop here. Food is delicious fresh ingredients well presented with a touch of originality. The restaurant have an inside salle and an outdoor terrace very nice. The staff is very polite and service fast. Just gorgeous

The restaurant has a really cozy outside area and the food is quite innovative. We got served a splendid amuse bouche: an artichoke soup that was vivid in its taste. This was followed by three courses that all lived up to the high expectations of the amuse bouche. The only little thing that one could criticize is that you have to already choose the dessert while ordering the other courses. Other than that it was amazing!

Camille's food is impeccable! Great French cuisine, balanced dishes, fine wines from the Vaucluse: best restaurant in Carpentras.

Four of us had dinner there last night. One of our friends speaks fluid French so that was very helpful with the menu. Our friend lives locally and said it was her best experience dining out in a long time. We chose the 37 euro menu and we were not disappointed with any of our choices. The sea bass was excellent and although the entire fish was presented to us, our waiter took it aside and deboned it for us. Excellent dinner. Dessert was the best. A chocolate cake filled with caramel was outstanding. The wine list was extensive and we chose the wine of the day and it was very good. Our bill without tip was 188 euros and we all felt it was worth it.

We took 'le menu d'été' of 36 EUR. The ingredients were fresh, of a good quality and of excellent taste. Nothing to complain about. BUT: Our little girl of 5 years old ate the kids menu 12 EUR. He's presented as a piece of meat or a piece of fish with ravioli or potatoes, a soft drink and an ice cream. I asked the waiter for some vegetables too. This was'nt a problem. How ever when he brought the dish there was no ravioli on the side. He said to me I asked vegetables. Our girl was disappointed. She has a great appetite and likes vegetables as well as ravioli. So I asked for some ravioli. Without any warning: 3 EUR EXTRA. Why are kids menus always presented without vegetables????The waiter was'nt very friendly either. So mixed feelings: great taste, very lousy service.

We have been recommended Camille's by a friend who happens to be a retired chef and his insisting on this place and the fresh cuisine by the young, inspired and gorgeous Camille made me curious. Even though we went there with probably not the best starting basis for eating out in France - we had limited time and I mentioned this while placing our order - the experience was nothing short of delightful! But first things first ...The restaurant is situated in a house just outside the city of Carpentras, surrounded by fields and vineyards. The interior and terrace are modern with a personal touch.A lunch menu with a choice of fish or meat is available for lunch at a moderate price (below 20 EUR for startet - main - dessert) but we went for à la carte options, all of which are equally available for lunch time. I chose Asparagus Cream as starter and Codfish as main whereas my companion went for a Mixed Salad, followed by Beef Shoulder. Based on our time constraints we skipped dessert and went through most of the menu with a pitcher of water - and a glass of white with the fish. The Asparagus Cream was a cool cream, topped with thin slices of fresh green asparagus, parma ham and Parmigiano cheese - a delicious, light yet mouthwatering combination, perfect for a lunch outside in the sun. The Mixed Salad was a choice of fresh spring greens, tossed over a cool ratatouille - light and tasty at the same time. The Codfish was cooked to perfection, flaky and still a translucent touch, served on spring vegetables (including my favorite fresh fava beans and tender artichokes) and a foamy saffron sauce. The braised Beef Shoulder was tender as anything and served along with roast potatoes, sautéed shallots and a rich, intense jus. The lovely staff did their best to allow us to finish in time and we are definitely looking forward to return on another occasion!

The best restaurant I have visited in Provence. Beautiful presentation and top quality ingredients. Camille is an exceptional chef who is going places. Richard has assembled a very good wine list that won't break the bank. A fabulous dining experience.
