We have been coming here for many years, and both the food and dervice has been very good. But this time the meat was though and no good, even the chef agreed. But the way the older female waitress responded and treated us was terrible ! We have not been so desrespeced in a restaurant ever before

We went to this restaurant for our "last supper" before returning to Scotland. Everything about it was lovely. From the idyllic setting on the beach, to the delightful staff, to the scrumptious food. Once settled and drinks ordered, the menu, a large blackboard is brought to the table. The choices are a la crate one side; set 3 course menu (28 euros) on the other side. We opted for set menu. Starters were foie gras with a warm spiced chutney and houmous with aubergine caviar and warmed Pata Negra. Both dishes were delicious! For main we both opted for entrecôte with a Roquefort sauce, served with potato wedges and a butternut squash purée. The steak was melt in the mouth, the wedges were lovely and the squash, infused with ginger, was amazing. Pannacottas to finish were light, fluffy and tasty. A mint tea and cafe brought our meal to an end.Anyone in the Cerbere area, you must make this a stop...make sure you book as we saw a number of people, turning up on spec, disappointed. Fresh, vibrant and tasty food at a very reasonable cost.

I have been to this restaurant one time before and I therefore know they have some good salads. At the time i came to the restaurant all was full and i could have a table in 30 min. I went to the beach and waited. We got our table, but without telling me first time i made the reservation, now they didnt have any warm food from the menu. My wife wanted the same salad as she got two years ago, but the waiter didnt know which one is was, after he got the explanation. I ordered the goat salad and after a couple of minutes, he came out and told me, they didnt have any goat cheese ;-( I gave up eating and was really disappointed this time, sorry.

This place is just fab - simple menu, great raw ingredients, simply cooked with lovely touches like great fresh mint tea and amazing quite unusual desserts. The setting is pretty special too if you keep your back to the not very beautiful building. Particularly great for meals with family because they are really good with kids (booster seats, little haribos with ice creams) and dogs (bowls of water brought out in the summer.)

This is definitely one of the best restaurants I know of.We went there two times now 2010 and this year again and I can only recommend this place. Most of the food is home made, changes every day and is just totally awesome...You can choose between menu and a good selection of different dishes.Try the home made sangria but not too much so that you can still taste the perfect food -);Do not forget to reserve a table in advance

this is the best place to eat in this area , book a table not to be disappointed ,the food is very good and the wine list is great, the staff are helpful and happy ,while we were there we saw wild boar with three babies , this is a very romantic location.on a six day trip i ate there twice, EXCELLENT.

This is why we go to France. In the hope of finding a family-run unpretentiously excellent restaurant that serves locally sourced wonderful ingredients cooked with flair and served with charm. And it's on the beach! We found ourselves returning again and again to enjoy the changing daily menu, and to relax by the water. Great value for money too, thoroughly deserving our first unequivocal five-star recommendation on TripAdvisor. Thank you from Jenny and her family!
