We have eaten at this restaurant twice. The first time was about 3 years ago, and we found the experience unpleasant based on how hot it was inside the restaurant (it's on the second floor and has no air conditioning) and how loud the party at the next table was. We mentioned this to the owner at the time and she acknowledged the problem but declined to say anything to them, explaining to us that they were clients who come every year and she didn't want to upset them. We decided to try the restaurant again this year, since it is one of the few which are open on a Monday night and this time the evening was cooler. We were greeted by one of the two friendly waitresses and chose a table near the window. Our starters came without too much of a wait and were quite good. We then waited for our dishes to be cleared and our main courses to be brought. And we waited. And we waited. The waitresses never came near us. The table next to us, which had been vacated soon after we arrived, was not cleared. The couple seated next to us waited for their dishes to be cleared as well. Our waitress found time to chat with a man smoking a cigar on the balcony, but never approached us. After we'd been sitting for about 35 minutes with our empty plates in front of us, the owner came near us, but only to clear the vacant table next to us. We simply handed her our empty plates. Our main courses arrived about 10 minutes after that. My husband's lamb was "okay at best," and my fish was completely tasteless. Our dishes were accompanied by steamed vegetables (carrots and broccoli) that were unseasoned and overdone. Our waitress noticed that I had left most of my dinner uneaten, and asked if I had liked it. I told her that it had no taste, but there was no comment or follow-up from anyone. We ate our dessert, paid the check, and left. We won't be back.
Lors d'un arrêt à moto en route pour les gorges du verdon, nous nous sommes arrêtés à Cereste et avons monté quelques marche pour accèder à la terrasse du restaurant La Pastorale.Bien nous en a pris, le déjeuner fut excellent pour une somme de 52€ à deux nous avons eu droit ce jour là à un excellent Gigot de 7 heures fondant à souhait et accompagné d'excellentes purées de légumes.Tout respirait le "fait maison" ce qui est des plus en plus rare pour être signalé.Les desserts furent sublime : Crème brulée à la lavande pour moi et farandole de dessert pour ma fille avec, une mini crème brulé, un Nougat glacé et une mousse au chocolat.Café + boisson, pour le prix, si vous passez par Cereste, n'hésitez pas un seul instant, la patronne vous accueillera avec bonne humeur
In een authentiek, eenvoudig lokaal krijg je de heerlijkste gerechten uit de Franse keuken geserveerd. Het is steeds moeilijk kiezen uit het menu; dat wordt opgelost met kleine proeverijtjes van meerdere gerechten. Als je op tijd reserveert is er ook ruimte voor verzoeknummers. Denk daarbij aan risotto of kwartel. Heerlijk!
Wir hatten einen Platz auf dem kleinen Balkon reserviert was durchaus zu empfehlen ist: die Kulisse der anderen Häuser und Restaurants in dieser Straße ist einfach typisch französisch. Wir hatten als Vorspeise Farandole: drei kleine Portionen verschiedene Vorspeisen, lauwarme Crevetten auf Guacomole, Foie Gras mit Feigen, warmer Ziegenkäse. Himmlisch!Danach Lamm, das beim Anschauen auseinanderfiel. Und eine wunderbare Café-Gourmand-Kreation zum Abschluss. Achtung: nächstes Jahr will sich das Team eine andere Location suchen!
