The "Parcours" is located on an island in the Saone, we had our dinner outside in the pedestrian zone of the rue de Strasbourg. The menu offers only a few choices but our three course menu was excellent (especially the home made foie gras). Very friendly and competent service.
Wr chosr this having looked at the options on Rue Strasbourg which are plentiful.Chose the basic menu and had a very good 3 courses and reasonable choice of wine by the glass.It was a bit sedate as there were only 2 others the're but livened up when an other group arrived.traditional French with touches of eastern spices and flavours.Definitely worth a visit
Parcours is a tiny & charming restaurant along a street filled with other eateries. The house kir is not to be missed. Madame answered our questions about shops, wines and even where to find a gift for our baby granddaughter. Everything we ordered tasted fresh & we appreciated the lovely & creative presentation. The pace of the meal & the prices were very agreeable. Our conversation with Madame was as memorable as our lunch. We would highly recommend Parcours.
There are plenty of restaurants to chose from in the Rue du Strasburg, and at first sight, Parcours looks much the same as any of the others. The difference is in the detail. The menu is very restricted, but what they do, they do beautifully. The surroundings are attractive - a downstairs 'cave' and a pretty outside area on the pedestrian street, the service is polite, friendly and attentive and the food is perfectly cooked, artistically presented and delicious. There's a good wine list at sensible prices.
