We had an amazing evening meal after reading the reviews on TA. The restaurant did not disappoint. My wife and I both had the three course menu and my kids ordered off the kids menu. Food was incredible and the service was extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

We found this place by chance after stumbling around the Loire Valley looking for a decent lunch place, and we were so happy that it fitted the bill. A 3 course lunch for 22€ which is innovative, well done, and substantial, we couldn't fault this place. The lady server was also lovely.

I came here nearly 16 years ago when this was a little creperie and tried again a few years ago. It was February so I was out of luck. The restaurant was pretty booked this summer too so if you want to have lunch or dinner there, stop by when you first get into town and make a reso.MP is not cheap but totally an inventive and attentive experience - not too much butter and sauce which is a nice change after a few days in France!Enjoy!

We just made the 115 pm cut off for a table. So very glad that we did! Two price points for a fix prix menu and we all opted for the lower priced option (it was lunch after all). My brother in law had the chicken liver sald, my wife had the cauliflower soup and I had the endive goat cheese tart. We were all very pleased with our selections! For our mains, my other table mates ate the duck leg and I ate the beef. The duck was tender and succulent. My steak was pretty good. Two of us opted for cheese to end our meal, with my wife taking the lava chocolate cake. We've been traveling around Europe (5 weeks in Italy) and this was my wife's declared favorite meal thus far.Friendly service, affordable wine and meals! Thanks for the rating and great restaurant tip, Tripadvisor!!!

We had an amazing meal for two on the last night of our holiday in Chaumont. We had to book in advance because it's always full and that's hardly a surprise with menus for most tastes and wallets. We had aperitif and 3 fabulous courses with a bottle of wine bottled less than 15 minutes walk away all for €77. The service was excellent and friendly and if you can't or won't speak French they do have an English version. I always think that if the locals eat there it's worth a go....you won't be disappointed!

Four of us had dinner - it's only open 7-8.15 - and it was lovely. We all had the 3 course set menu for €28 per person plus the drinks. The boys had beer and the girls had the cocktail of the day aperitif which was so good we had 2. Despite our pathetic French the very friendly and efficient waitress served us up some delicious food including prawns in whiskey and curry cream sauce (an absolute delight) and a beef fillet dish which melted in the mouth. But the piece de la resistance was the 'assiette de gourmand' - a sampler plate of all the desserts they serve (2€ supplement but worth every cent) which was just gorgeous. Bill was €150 euros for 4, including drinks. Not the cheapest meal we've had but certainly good quality and fab service. Would go back but they're shut on Mondays and Tuesday's so we didn't get the opportunity.

I was surprised at how expensive this restaturant was over $30.00 for lunch for 1 person. I had an appetizer (5 large shrimp in a curry sauce). It was very good but not worth the priceof almost $15.00 I also had a small carafe of local white wine, a coffee and a dessert. Seems a bit much for what it was. The waitress was somewhat friendly but no more than what would be acceptable politeness. I would not recommend this place unless you want to spend a LOT of money, and certainly do not go on your own, as no one really cares whether you are there or not. LOL
