Quite picturesque, and a monument that has been standing since the late 1800's, I definitely do not think it is as old as the other architectures in the

We found this restaurant through guide michelin and they delivered very well. Proffesional service but still relaxed. Food was very well prepared. Good atmosphere. We went for the dinner menue for 33 euros and it was excellent. Classic french brasserie servings at its best

We had a meal here on a Monday night when most places to eat in Colmar are closed. The restaurant is really nice inside and the service is pleasant but a bit disorganised (they asked if I wanted a desert and had forgotten our mains!!) My starter of Palma ham poached egg and beans and main of Fillet of Beef was beautifully cooked. Wine list is very good too. If your looking for a restaurant on a quiet Monday night - go to this one and you won't be disappointed.

We went for dinner and had a lovely bistro-like meal - good quality food. The staff was very attentive and extremely friendly - you certainly felt welcome. Make sure to book a table - the restaurant is popular.

We popped in here for lunch during a break from visiting the Unterlinden Museum (the museum cafe was full). Frankly a bit disappointing - the pot au feu was very ordinary and the size of the helping quite small (at least compared with must portions in Alsace!) and the kougelhopf glace merely ice cream in the shape of a kougelhopf. Not exactly cheap either.

We visited Colmar in the week after Christmas and found this restaurant via the Michelin website. The restaurant has a very good ambiance, a very friendly staff and, the most important, serves very good food. We took the menu for 32 euros and had a very good terrine de campagne to start with and onglet as a main course. The onglet was perfectly cooked. We ended our dinner with a delicious chocolate dessert. Wines are very reasonably priced.

Fun restaurant, bistro style with some local traditional foods (like chacrute). Personable staff who were attentive and when needed spoke English. It was out of the hubbub of the center of the old town so, at least to us, seemed a little more relaxing. Worth a little bit of a walk

After walking through the old town and touring the Musee Unter Linden we ate lunch here. It was a great taste of french cuisine in general and Alsace in particular. Waitress was very helpful to our understanding of the menu and the service was good without rushing us. Reasonably priced wine list with good limited selection by the glass. We were there on a Wednesday and by 1230 the place was full, mostly with local customers and few tourists.
