They have very tasty tarte flambé, good selection of local wines and decent service. Very nice location with view to old Alsace buildings.

Found this by chance within the old city by a fountain but the locals know it so just ask. Friendly and attentive staff and delicious food made our evening supper memorable. Thanks to everyone at Restaurant Koifhus

Well,l it won't take you long to decide. Its tarte flambe or nothing. To be fair, the lad informed us about this before we sat at the table. The good thing about it, is that service is quick and the food is nice. Ah they serve Alsace wine too, even though by the glass its a bit expensive. Service is pretty much friendly.

Had breakfast here both days of our visit - croissants orange juice and coffee on the corner opposite the Douane through the wine tasting arch. The waiter remembered how I liked my tea which is amazing given how busy it is! Pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by. Worth visiting their toilets to see the gaudiesque wrought iron hand rail and ski/hunting lodge upstairs. Or perhaps I'm easily pleased.

I don't think they they do anything else. Be careful there are a few other restaurants with similar names. If you want friendly service, breakfast maybe, Alsace wine, by the glass, come here. I'd you want full restaurant, choucroute, etc. Look elsewhere, they don't do it here. Did I say tarte flambée, they are inexpensive here. Worth a stop in my view.

Tarte Flambee - oh, I wish I were there to eat it again. This was the thinnest pizza with the most flavor of the 8 I had on a 17 day trip. 6 of them were in Italy and this one just blew the others away with flavor. The service was quick and good. The price was excellent and eating outside was delightful.
