We were staying at a nearby hotel, which recommended Leons to us (with a 15% discount voucher) as they did not have an onsite restaurant. We were slightly apprehensive after reading some of the trip advisor reviews, but being tired and hungry after a long 8 hour drive, we thought we would give it a go!On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely waitor, who had some intuition that we were English before we even spoke! He sat us at a table (with English menus!), explained the menu and took our drinks order. Although the restaurant was very busy (including many locals) we received excellent efficient service throughout the evening and the food was delicious. Although previous reviews have said the restaurant was dirty, we did not see this on our visit (perhaps management have taken heed of the review). Overall, we would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again if in Colmar, based on the service and the value for money for a two course meal.

We just got back from dinner at Leon's, as recommended by our nearby hotel. The experience was so bad we stopped at McDonald's on the way home. All of the cutlery and glasses were dirty, I had to go round the empty tables to find a clean set. The food was awful, our fries didn't come out with the rest of the food and when they did they seemed stale.

Having already been to other Leons (Brussels & Paris) I knew exactly what to expect. Mussels beautifully cooked .It may be a bit pricey , but it's worth it. However, I noticed a slight difference in the taste of the French fries and the mayonnaise- it wasn't the way it used to be...

The food was excellent, as always at Leons, but the service left a little to be desired. We had at least 5 different waiters in the course of our meal, all exceptionally friendly and doing their best, but it would have been a lot easier for all parties if it had been just a little less chaotic.

Clean beautiful Leon's (we are fans), food is great.....this location is understaffed though. (Take note, Leon's) Service can be slow but it's only a couple waitresses working the dining rooms. However, a great family restaurant (think a Belgian/French version of Chili's -- but one you would want to eat in -- with great beer and moules frites. We adore Leon's.

Perfect, far from the city center (shops-industrial area), but worth a trip (by car or taxi). All kind what you can imagine. Benefit: not clised after 2pm as a regular restaurant. Open from 11:30am till 11pm

As our hotel was close to this restaurant we gave it a try. The service was chaotic. No knives on the table . The drinks and the orders where mixed up. The glases and the cutlery where dirty. The dishes where half frozen. The wine was of bad quality and the beer was overpriced. The staff tried to be friendly but there was a complete lack of organisation.
