I used an online reservation system to book a table for Tuesday lunchtime, but when my friend and I arrived at the restaurant, we found it closed! Apparently, the restaurant is always closed on Tuesdays. As a result, we had to find somewhere else to eat. I realize that my frustration is mainly with OpenTable rather than Joe Rigs, but surely someone from the restaurant could have noticed that a reservation was made for a closed day and reached out to inform me. There was plenty of time to do this, as I had booked over a week in advance! OpenTable really needs to improve their booking system to prevent people from reserving tables when the restaurant is closed. Overall, I am very disappointed!

It turns out they are always closed on Tuesdays. Consequently, we had to go somewhere else. I realize my frustration lies more with OpenTable than with Joe Rigs, but I do think one of the staff members should have noticed that someone tried to book a table on a day when they were closed and reached out to me. I had made the reservation over a week in advance, so there was plenty of time to notify me! OpenTable really needs to improve their booking system to prevent this from happening again. I am very disappointed!
