Visited on a Sunday for lunch, and you just choose how many dishes you want and if you prefer meat or fish: “menu surprise”. Of course you can signal allergies or things you don’t like. Dishes were creative, well executed, tasty and beautiful. Service was careful and friendly. A very good and recommended experience.

We visited for Sunday lunch. There is no menu, you simply select the number of courses you want, sit back and wait to be surprised. The only choice, other than the extensive wine list, is "meat or fish" for the main course. I asked if lamb was available, my wife wanted beef. The adjoining tables had pork, quale, turbot

This has become our favourite special spot - is a bit of a trek for us, having to cross the lake, arrange for a taxi to meet us etc but soooo worth it.We have eaten there 3-4 times and been blown away each time by the attention to details, friendly and welcoming service and in particular the flavours! Might be stating the obvious but even when you know what you are getting, it is mind-blowing - the texture versus flavour - how does something that ethereal pack such a punch, why flavours that sound wrong on paper work so well together. Hmmm just salivating remembering our last lunch there. The courtyard is lovely but so are the interior rooms, all very sympathetic and well thought through. Really knowledgeable staff who provide just the right level of friendly service. Can't fault it.The pricing is not give away but worth every penny and in this region very good value for the quality.

One Michelin star. How come there's only one!? Must visit. One of our fav' places. Start your evening with glass of champagne on the terrace. We did appreciate the approach they have to the customer - very calm, delicate and elegant.

We went there last year for a special occasion. It was a really nice atmosphere in a beautiful setting, making every guests feel special. You choose a menu but the actual courses are usually a surprise of the day. You can ask for what it will be, but then the surprise element is taken away. If you don't ask, you have to be very specific about things you don't like though, as I ended up with a main that I wasn't a big fan of though the quality of the food was excellent. My husband adored it, so he just had a bit more of it ;-). Overall all the food was very nicely prepared and of outstanding quality. The service was super-attentive. We are living just walking distance away, so if money wouldn't matter at all, I'd probably go there every week, but as money does matter, we are keeping it for very special occasions. I wouldn't necessarily go with kids, as it was just too elegant and other guests might feel disturbed if kids get bored after a while. So, a babysitter is a good choice for an evening at the flaveurs.

This cozy restaurant in the Frenche countryside close to Lake Leman, is a an everending surprise...the stone little castle where the restaurant is like a fairy tale place; the owner, a young extremely kind woman, chooses all the interior as well the set-up of table with excellent style. And the gastronomy and wines (huge wine choice)...you can't be let down by it...try it and judge yourself, the place worth the visit.

I went there with my husband for his birthday. We both love food (good food) and we like to discover fine dine creations - so we go from time to time to Michelin stars restaurants expecting a gastronomic trip with creativity and explosion of taste. To start with the food - if this was a normal restaurant I would rate it very good but in my opinion was nothing special or surprising so for a one star I rate it average. I did not see that element of surprise and creation which we found in other 1 star restaurants but this is always subjective so maybe it just didn’t fit my taste. Also our expectations for originality and surprise were probably too high as they do not have a menu - you can only choose how many dishes you want so they have one menu for everybody. Having the freedom to do that I really expected some extraordinary experience - surprising explosion of tastes. All ingredients were clearly very good quality but it tasted more like home cooking than creation - with the exception of the dessert where indeed there was a nice-fresh-surprising marriage of tastes. The unpleasant surprise was the service – people were nice but at the end it was slow and un-attentive. (Need to mention that the person advising on the wine was very nice). It started well – but troubles started at the main dish. It took us 5 min to get the attention of somebody to get salt, then after finishing the main dish we stayed 15 min with dirty plates in front of us and nobody cleaning or asking us anything. After the main dish we waited half an hour to have the cheese served and about the same for the dessert. I don’t know how busy they were as we were sited in a small room with only 2 tables but waiters kept running in and out the big room ignoring us. And probably the most annoying thing that all this time the lady who we assume was the manager (and the chef) were chatting and laughing at the exit (not far from us) with a couple leaving. All most felt like you only get one star service if you are a regular or “you have connections”.Service is a big criterion for the star – in fact most of the times we go in a one star we find it almost too much…..but here was really not the case, on the contrary. So overall a good restaurant but for me – I did not really see that 1 star – except for the bill.

This restaurant is really good. After several visits we can confirm that the quality of food, the service and the ambience are persistently good and we have become 'very happy repeaters'. The chef is very creative, the staff very attentive and friendly and the wine card excellent. A place where details matter. Only go there if you like this kind of very 'fine cuisine' which can be described as a 'variation des saveurs' . In this case: bon appétit
