we have just arrived in fecamp and have found le table de benoit just around the corner from our hotel. we were greeted by a nice host who showed us on a table for two straight at the window. the environment is simple, but chic the cutlery is stylish, but intentionally oddly tuned. our host explained the menus in French and changed in English as and if we don't understand; she bought us a beautiful tapenade with brot to start with our champagne. we chose both the kalbs that came with a fresh ratatouille, and ordered a bottle of corsican rose that was excellent, for pudding we had créme brulée and a apricot tea washed out with a beautiful calvados. the place is both chic and welcoming, eating is good to cook home with fresh ingredients, which above all tasted great, all to cheap trips. this place is worth trying to go down to the sea to watch the sunset!
