We stopped by Pizza Phil while strolling in Bedoin. It is a simple cafe with a few chairs on the pavement but a nice crowds of cycling enthusiasts were enjoying cold beers, pizzas and salads. The salads were certainly tasty and had good portions. Pizza Phil was decent for a quick lunch in nice atmosphere of Bedoin.
My family and I visited here last week. We avoided pizza restaurants for the first few days as wasn't really what we were looking to eat in France but in Bedoin we found it hard to avoid as so many of the restaurants serve Italian food. That aside pizza Phil was one of our more enjoyable evening meals. The food was honest, lots of choice and reasonably priced. The pizzas are a large size and they were happy to box our leftovers up - so in truth we had two meals for the price of 1! service was really friendly and fast. I speak basic French (I can order a meal at least) and they were approachable and appreciated our efforts which was a nice attitude change from many of the other restaurants in the area. Overall a pleasant, no thrills, family meal that suited our party of 5 and satisfied all taste-buds for a reasonable price.
If you visit bedoin and want food and drink this is THE place to go! Visited twice over a 4 day visit to the area, my mate tried the pizza and I had a steak on the first visit and really enjoyed it.On the 2nd visit we both had the most fabulous meal of black pig which was delicious and really must be tried.Wash it all down with a local wine or a superb St stefanus Belgian lager. If I ever visit the area again I will definitely be going again.
Very busy and given the number of restaurants serving pizza in Bedoin, you can guess why. Reasonably priced with everything in the 8 to 13 euro range, the choice is varied and the pizzas are plenty big enough. Friendly staff and good choice of beers too. Certainly worth a visit or two.
A very busy and very buzzing pizza joint which spills across in front of the local police station. Fine dining it is definitely not, but you are not expecting it. The pizzas are all around the e8/10 range, they look huge when they arrive and are very good. Service is good and quick and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Phil wears a very big hat. Highly recommended.
