The wee bistro was a local bistro that we have wanted to try for sometime. We had heard pool reviews but thought we should try it for ourselves. The overall feel was relaxing. The owner was insistant on name dropping during a story we didnt request. The main greavance is with the face my wife ordered chicken that was baked. When it came my wife tried it and a first it was fine however as she continued to eat and share it with our two year old it was evident that it was highly spiced. Having had many amazing meals in Skinny Malinkys Bistro it is a place I would strongly recommend for a visit The food is of a fabulous variety cooked to perfection always hot and beautifully presented .The service from Danielle ,Caroline and Andy is always helpful and polite and very informative .The facilities are spotless so clean and tidy The chef Joe is just fantastic he just makes great food .A must visit to this lovely Bistro ...
Good kids menu, excellent pre theatre. The menu has items such as fish and chips, muscles, chicken liver parfait, steak pie, lasagne, haddock etc. The food was excellent, and took it a notch above the expectation. With the parfait there was an exquisite fennel salad, lightly pickled. The kids fish and chips had crispy batterand perfectly cooked fish. Excellent value. Nice atmosphere.
Waited about mins for order to be taken and we were the only people there! The chef went out as soon as we got there to the bookies or whatever. portions of chips, latte, small glass of wine and one apple pie were nearly Apple pie was the smallest portion they could cut and was Latte was only warm.
