Had a pleasant lunch at La Tamarin during our stay at Gruissan. Warm friendly welcome and fast efficient service. Very extensive menu offering seafood, fresh fish, pizzas, Moules marinieres, crepes and lovely salads. We enjoyed a very generous salad each, Warm goat's cheese for my husband and a salad Landaise - gesiers walnuts,

We would not race back to this very average restaurant but we were hungry, we hadn't done our home work and there is a pleasant and ever changing view. Service was slow and somewhat indifferent but we did get a meal and a cooling drink.

Just a simple lunch, sirloin and Dover sole. Quite good and would go back. Plenty of others also enjoying their lunch

We had a family meal here and were glad we did. It was a little busier than most other places but that really is because the food is and service is great.We had foie gras which was beautiful with a nice sized portion. My wife had a steak which almost covered her plate and was cooked exactly as asked. I had the duck and this was a very large piece of duck indeed. It was very nice to and once again cooked exactly as asked. The whole meal including staff was a lovely experience.If I had to find any fault it would be just one gentleman who was clearly drunk eating at a nice restaurant in an evening without a shirt on being very loud, rude and he was not spoken to about this by any of the staff. I guess it was just one of those acceptable things here like smoking in a restaurant. It did not spoil our visit and we will definitely be eating here again.

Prompt friendly service. The food was ok and reasonably priced, but nothing special. Would eat there again if everywhere else was full.

Great food, 3 course menu at 15 euros Service a bit slow but when you are on holiday, do you really care ? Fresh food, really refreshing when it is hot !

Our first visit in July was a good experience, we therefore decided to eat there again. We will not be eating there again after our experience this week.First of all we were given the usual bottle of tap water which to our surprise was warm. Our order was taken promptly by friendly staff hence the rating given. The chicken burger was tough and the bun very dry and the St Jacques quite a small portion for the dish of the day with cold rice and mussels. I was given a bottle of sauce that was empty by the waiter. We also felt rushed, waiting staff hovering as we ate to offer the dessert menu and to clear our plates.

The place becomes very crowded in the evening, you can't sit comfortable on the chair. The oysters were fresh, chocolate muss was very nice, generally food was good, if only there would be more space between tables.
