We passed this restaurant on the way to another and thought we would try it on the off chance, and what a smart move that was! It was early and we were the first diners in at just after 7.15, the three of us chose 2 different starters between us, a tuna terrine and a rabbit pate, both were excellent. They had Stella Artois on draught, and our female companion had an excellent bottle of reasonably priced red. All 3 of us chose the chicken as a main course, and it was served in a cast iron casserole pot, complete with beautifully prepared vegetables, 10 out of 10 from all of us! Dessert of strawberry infused Creme brûlée for me was excellent, and the others had a superb chocolate mouse with cappuccino cream and rich dark chocolate brownie. We also had a couple of superbly priced carafes of excellent wine. We would all recommend this restaurant.
