Just had some lunch here with friends. Me and my friend ordered in the front, got our receipt and took a seat outside at the back of the restaurant. Our other friend took her order and also paid for herself. After having finished our lunch we left. I took my receipt with me, my friend left hers on the table. We were enjoying the surroundings of the forest and all of a sudden the owner was behind us telling us we didn't pay (in half French
La Roche Tremblante is a restaurant next to, ahem, La Roche Tremblante. The name is not very creative, as are the interior and terrace of the restaurant. Cheap furniture, lots of plastic. When it's hot and you crave for a drink, it's hard not to stop here, because it's the only restaurant in this part of Huelgoat Forest. There are lots of better restaurants in Huelgoat!
This massive rock sits in the Huelgoat forest daring you to try. The rock is almost perfectly balanced, providing the opportunity if you can find the perfect spot to move this 100 tonne pebble. Many fail, all I know for sure is that I made...it tremble. Well a little anyway. This forest is amazing with massive ‘pebbles’ all all over the place, as if a larger hand through them like marbles onto the ground. This forest is well worth a visit.
This creperie has a fantastic location under the boulders near Roche Tremblante which gives it its name. Usually it's quite busy but we never had to wait really long. The place itself could do with a...More They also provide a water bowl for thirsty dogs which is always appreciated.
I like this little cafe, nestled in the rocks in the forest at Huelgoat. Fine dining it isn't, but then it doesn't pretend to be. This is a coffee, crepes and cold drink stop for people walking in the forest. Whenever we are in the...area, we visit this to sit out in the sun and watch the world go by. English is spoken, but why not try a little French.

We walked back with him and I told him I already paid and showed the ticket. He said I had paid, but my friend didn't. She couldn't show her receipt because it was left on the table. The owner sounded aggressive and said there was no receipt on the table. We all had seen the receipt was left on the table, and feel that we have been conned by the owner. Unfortunately, our French is not that good and the owner's voice got more aggressive, so my friend decided to pay again. Avoid this place, or at least be sure to take the receipt with you!
