Visited this place after a mix up with our booking next door. Welcomed well and shown to our table, drinks and food orders taken quickly and food arrived in good time. Our poor French was good enough to order food with and without certain things (always a challenge) and the food was good at a reasonable price. Many thanks we would visit again
As starter we shared a plate of quality meat and fish products: really nice, in particular the rillette. Afterwards my wife took a salad nicoise (which I liked) and I took the vegetarian pizza (which was not very tasty, would not recommend). Terrace is nice but cars were driving in the street like idiots (apparently politicians in this town don't have the courage to ban driving from the old center and create a relaxing athmosphere).
My girlfriend and I had a wander around La Reole one morning whilst staying at the excellent L'Autre Vie near by.We had lunch sitting outside at Le Solendo and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Madam was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh and memorable ..... I had a scallop starter followed by eels fried in a spicy rub with tagliatelli - superb and very reasonably priced !Highly recommended.
