Le Tire Bouchon suggests with her claim about frites and ketchup that their cuisine is not average. We had dinner there, and indeed: not average. The service is quick, the meals delicious and the wines very good. They serve "breton" food and they do a good job.

We visited the market with friends, and four of us had the €15 menu plus drinks. Good value, good service, pleasant atmosphere. They were out of tart for dessert, so offered us the a la carte menu desserts. I had a brûlée.

Unlike so many other restaurants, Le Tire Bouchon makes a definite statement about its cuisine: no fries, no sauce! Our first visit was on a sunny lunchtime in early September, where a close examination of the various "formules" on offer excited our curiosity, especially since to seniors such as we, all the options seemed to offer good value for money. Others must have thought the same because the only table available was in the street. We sat down and were promptly given a menu from which we could choose a-la-carte or a formule. My wife and I both ordered from the formule menu, and I do remember our choices were well-presented and tasted delicious. The service too was very good, so much so that at the end of our meal, we made a reservation to return in a few weeks and try an evening sitting. And we did. Again we were seated promptly, and again we received the same friendly service - this time our waiter clearly spoke better English than we spoke French! I ordered from the Formule 22 menu and chose the smoked salmon with dill for my entree (delicious); for my main I chose the pork belly with a creamy mushroom sauce and boiled, small new potatoes (excellent); and for dessert I guiltily chose a nougat ice-cream topped with raspberry sauce (annoyingly more-ish!) My wife had a pork terrine for her entree and a main course of mini-scallops, rice, caramelised onions and a small lettuce salad. Her verdict? Excellent! The wine list was fairly extensive but (as usual) we played safe and went with the house red, a merlot. At Euro 7.50 for 50cl it too was well worth the money! So a little gem in Lannion - thoroughly recommended.

Came across this place while walking around Lannion. I'm vegan, my partner is an omnivore and it can be tricky finding a quality place that suits us both. This place serves (animal product-heavy) sophisto French cuisine but I asked if the chef could accommodate me and there was no problem at all. Had a lovely main dish of rice, veggies in a delicious 'Hawaiian' sauce, *amazing* ?dilled? melty carrots. My compliments to the chef. The server was sympa and chatted with us a while too. To the restaurant, I'm sorry for breaking a wine glass, and thanks again for being so flexible.

Enjoyed a fabulous 3 course meal this evening. We arrived early but reserved and subsequently enjoyed the table near window.I had the 32 euro menu whilst my wife enjoyed the 22 Euro . Hers was better value for money.Starters were both excellent with my scallops with andouilles was yummy. We both had duck for main and was a decent portion. The sweets were also top notch. I found the strawberry with vanilla ice cream in a pepper sauce quite unusual but nice crunch with the biscuit. Lovely chocolate cake for my wife.Overall this place is worth a visit. There were around 20 covers in the restaurant whilst we were pampered by excellent service.

I had not visited this restaurant for many years however I was pleased to find that the interior has been very tastefully renovated and fits fully with the historical feel of the town. I would say from he start that when I use the word "fantastic" I am not comparing this restaurant with gourmet/ Michelin starred restaurants but with those charging similar sums. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu however you would be silly to look beyond the set menus which start at €22. I tried hard to persuade myself that I needed to chose a more expensive menu but in the end the choice n the cheapest set menu was so good that I had to stick with it. I had seafood rillettes followed by belly pork and whilst neither were the best I have had, both were great on a menu of this price. My dessert was an amandine tart with a caramel beurre sale sauce. It would have worked better with some fresh cream but even without it, it was the highlight of the meal. I had expected to find if difficult to chose something I fancied from one of the set menus but in the end there was so much I fancied that the choice was very hard. With excellent service from extremely friendly staff and for good food at a price which is far too cheap you should give this place a go.

We had the 22-Euro-menue there. Food was good (but not excellent) but my spare rips pretty greasy, took long to digest...Staff was friendly, unfortunately on the bill was a "2 x 7 Euro thing" we didn't ordered...For onne time it was pretty OK, would't go back tonight though...

This restaurant in the centre of Lannion is really worth a visit, and I think most people know it too, because it is advisable to book. However, we were lucky, late and on a market day, I wasn't sure if I could find it again, but we did. We were shown to a table for two in the middle of the restaurant, but soon offered one by the window, when it became free, although we hadn't asked for it! What a lovely touch. The menu is on a huge blackboard on the wall, and the wine list is on another board, offering some of the best wines by the glass, like Pouilly Fume and Menetou-Salon. I had already chosen main and dessert when I saw that I could add a starter too and still pay only €22. We had rillettes de la mer with mixed leaves, travers de porc (which is belly of pork) which was cooked to perfection and served with ratatouille, mushrooms and roasted new potatoes. The dessert contained pears and was delicious. The wine was very chilled (I have a thing about wine by the glass being served sufficiently chilled because it has to last till the end of the meal and can warm up by then, but this was the ideal temperature). We tried the Menetou Salon, it was just right. The staff showed us the utmost attention, everything was served promptly, and they enquired how it was. This was my third visit, but my husband's first, and he was very impressed. We'll be back!
