A quirky little place which seemed quite popular amongst the locals. If there was a rating between Average and Very Good I would have given it Good! Not sure it warrants its current Trip Advisor rating. Very male dominated place could do with a woman's touch - no soap in the toilets which Immediately gets the thumbs down from me ( I did tell them but they were aware - which makes it even more worrying - they hadn't had their delivery apparently?!) how much effort does it take to run to the shop to get some!?!? What are the chefs using to wash their hands before preparing your meal?!?! Good service.
It can be potentially harmful to write a rave review about a fantastic small venue, but this really deserves the credit, and I am sure they will cope with any increase in custom as a result. There is an artist at work here in the kitchen, and even with so much choice of fresh fish and other 'fruits de mer' in this splendid seaside resort, it will always be my choice to eat pizza at this restaurant, when in Le Crotoy. I always ask for any pizza to be cooked for a few minutes extra. I wasn't disappointed.The chilled red wine was delightful, and so was the chevre chaud salad with home made balsamic reduction dressing. The best surprise was the chocolate mousse / fondant dessert with extra crunchy chocolate chips hidden away. One of the best puddings I have ever eaten in France in decades.Nothing is a problem here, and they take their work very seriously.10 out of 10.
