We spent one evening at the hotel while passing through. The staff were wonderful! So welcoming and pleasant! The room has two floors with the bed on the second floor and a small room with a spectacular view of the pastured deer, goat and Llama. The bathroom is on the first floor and is split with the toilet in one room and the shower and sink in another. There is also a TV upstairs and downstairs.Pillows are adequate, if you check the closet downstairs, and blankets plentiful. Everything is clean and well maintained. This was a nice place to rest.As for the restaurant, we got the same warm welcome and the food was awesome!I ordered the Chicken in Apricot with potato at under $20 euro. The chicken was tender, tasty and well seasoned. The portion was filling, but not heavy.I highly recommend both the hotel, and the restaurant.

Coming in this general direction from Mount Ste-Odile, we had no idea where we were going to have a late Sunday lunch until we came to this lovely town nestled in the mountains. This restaurant looked like the best option since the parking areas near it were full - a good sign. We ended up parking in public parking -no fee- on rue du Wittertalhof - a short walk away. A wide selection on their menu. The patrons seemed to be local people. We ordered Gratin de Homard and Saumon Sauvage sur Salade followed by desserts of Gratin de Fraises and a Mousse Toblerone. Accompanied by a beer and a glass of Pinot Gris. A leisurely meal over a couple hours. An excellent meal and an excellent value for 64 euros.A recommended restaurant.

Lovely place with very friendly stuff. We stayed for 2 hours and had a great menu. The food and the vine were perfect. They speak French, German and English fluently so we had no problems to communicate with the stuff. The accept credit cards. We would recommend this place definitively!

I loved it! with friends with 5 years and all age groups were happy. the food was delicious and regional. only something: English translation was not accurate. use google translate with the French translation. so the rasperry Aquavite foam will not be so surprising.
