We were on the beach when the Mistral picked up. So, rather than the planned sandwich, we decided to treat ourselves to a late lunch.I confess I didn't have high hopes - it felt like it could be a classic example of poor quality food in the middle of a touristy area - but I was very pleasantly surprised.The service was a little abrupt (but not unpleasantly so) and we did have to ask several times for water as the waiter kept forgetting".But the food was good. Not the best I had this holiday, but far from the worst (I need to practice giving compliments! :) ) Most of us had crepes which were very good.I'm not surprised that it remained busy through the afternoon, even past the usual lunchtime period. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but it was a good find and I'd be happy to eat there again if I was in that part of Le Lavandou.
For more than 30 years we have been practicing lavandou on holiday but we have never noticed the entrance of this restaurant that looks rather like a garage. In the plate it is a totally unexpected miracle. Congratulations on the freshness and flavours of your octopus salad, your wonderful wolf not to mention the milk shake oreo dessert (a tuerie). it is clear that the weak point comes from the frame but so bad as the contents of the plate is exceptional. also a very nice welcome. 90€ to 2 all included for this treat is a very good quality, price. Bravo.
