Just down from the bus stop and outside the village centre we walked past and were attracted by the lobster salad on offer so called in for lunch .Service was excellent and very friendly they allowed me to indulge my schoolboy french. It was almost full so we got an inside table, the decor was pleasantly casual and everything spotlessly clean. Our lobster salad arrived promptly and was delicious , washed down with an excellent muscadet .Excellent value and if we had more time wed return .

Lovely restaurant, very good food and friendly service. The seafood was very good, and the children's menu was perfect. All of the staff were attentive and kind. We would go back here again!

Called in for a quick lunch and were seduced by the fixed price menu. Splendid seafood, nicely prepared and presented (although I felt the moules marinieres missed out on cream so the lovely soup you normally get a the end was not as appetising as usual). Very friendly and professional service. If you like seafood in a relaxed environment, this place is a good choice.

There were still people being served and a quick salad would have been perfect but it was not possible.

We arrived late but the staff was kind enough to move us twice due to large groups occupying two of the rooms. The starters and main courses were excellent. The manager is from Burgundy so the wine list is good too. We hope to return soon!

Lovely little restaurant. Struggled a bit with our vegetarian family member but the staff were brilliant and the chef came out to speak with him personally. Food was gorgeous especially the dessert. Would love to visit again.

On an island renowned for its seafood this restaurant restaurant managed to annihilate both the fish and the seafood we chose. Also, at a price well above average for the area and the island. The wine list, given the proximity of the Charente/Loire was limited. Its popularity on Tripadvisor is probably given to lack of choice in the area, and best avoided.Unless you want moules et frites at lunchtime for a pit stop its probably well worth skipping a meal.

This is a real find in a rather remote village on the Isle de Re and worth seeking out. Not grand or flashy but clean and friendly with great food at fantastic value. Fresh fish, beautifully cooked--tasty and simple. The staff make you feel special and our grilled cuttlefish was very special eating.
