Open-air bar restaurant, with really nice staff, in which they did serve us, although we reached min before the kitchen. we have the menu, for the starter “beignets aux courgetes” and “oefs” both very delicious. as the main dish the “ Filet...de st Pierre” and “saltin bocca de poulet ” as well as the amount is exactly what a healthy person needs. great value for money! I recommend it for everyone!
we were night in L’Ile rousse and ate here in the first night. ends up eating here all three nights as it was excellent, and could not compare anything else. beautiful outdoors in a quiet place, very friendly staff, especially the older lady. the mother, of course,) who was the most friendly, delicious food and weep at very cheap prices. a large varied menu, and all served efficiently and with good portions. can't blame it. I recommend this restaurant, and I especially recommend the pizzas that were excellent.
read the reviews so there was an attempt. it is just a few minutes from the main square near the casino super market. the employees don't speak English and we don't speak much French, but we're over. the waiter/owner is friendly. the menu is short...but enough choice. good size shares, all good is delicious and the pizzas excellent. they have a beautiful Corsica wine at a reasonable price that the other restaurant does not seem to sell. only expensive wee selling. that was our favorite place to eat.
Le Rubica is behind the touristy main square, well worth checking it out! This appears to be more for the locals but we were very impressed with the food on offer. The portions were huge and extremely good quality! Don't be scared to try this...place out as you won't be disappointed! Far less expensive than most restaurants in the area too. Delicious good quality food in a local bar/restaurant!
Le Rubica is located on a nice and quiet street, not far from the crowded main square. There is a lovely terrace under a mimosa tree in front of the restaurant. They prepare pizza and snacks as well as more elaborated dishes and desserts. We've...had a very enjoyable dinner here with fish, mussels and rosé wine, among others. My daughter was especially happy about her dessert fresh pineapple carpaccio, topped with some artisanal ice cream. In addition to the nice ambiance and and tasty dishes, their prices are more reasonable comparing to the restaurants lined up on the main square and waterfront.
