Passage dans la brasserie du sud. De bons plats avec une jolie découverte. Juste un plat de viande trop salé, et une viande un peu trop dur à manger. Réservation sous la véranda très prisé !! Super pr la réservation en ligne.

Although located in a nice spot just off Place Bellecour, this restaurant is not worth your time or money. I know, I know, it's a Bocuse restaurant, so it must be good, right? No. The food was consistently uninteresting, over-salted, and just sort of boring. We have eaten everywhere from Michelin 3 star to hole in the wall Vietnamese, Thai and Lebanese in France, from Paris to Lyon to Loire to Cannes to Normandy, and Le Sud was the most disappointing food experience we have ever had. There are many other really good French and ethnic restaurants in Lyon. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

Excellent quality-price rate even staff is a bit limited in saying greetings. Try Foie-Gras and figues.

We enjoyed our meal in Brasserie Le Sud as the food was good, the service efficient without being 'stuffy' and the atmosphere casual. The set menu is good value. The starter plate of jambon and the chocolate fondant dessert were our favourite items. A great choice of restaurant when in Lyon.

Not exactly overcelebrating its success this pricey Bocuse emblem but it is hard not to be After 9 years since a last visit the quality and flair has not reinvented itself. The salmon pizza was almost deplorable but not so the salads and the baba aux rhum. The waiters and the heads were swift, immediate and working with the wink. That was marvellous. Everybody was happy, slightly packed, reserving a table is prudent and decided in advance what you want to eat and how you want to deploy your forces. Province roses are fine summer choices and the crown is mixed from elderly quasi-locals to American garrulous enthusiasts.

Our concierge recommended having lunch here. We ate on the covered patio and had a wonderful meal. I had the veal Milanese, and it was exceptional. The wine was local and delicious. My daughter had the prawns, and they were delicious. The service was 5 star.

My husband and I had a wonderful exoerince with attentive staff, comfortable surroundings and amazing food. This was recommended to us by the local pharmacist and also by our tour guide from the wine region. We started with a shared starter of a pizza. Yummy and simple and definitely got the appetite started. There were two chef specials and we cose them both. I had a filo pastry parcel with chicken, herbs and spices stuffed inside. My husband had the bouillabaisse, which he enjoyed to the last spoonful.Definetly a must go in Lyon.

Not an exciting restaurant -- food is standard, almost stereotypical, French food that was of similar quality to wedding reception fare. Not to recommend if you are a visitor to Lyon.
