I discovered this restaurant one night when some friends had proposed to go to see a movie when I lived in lion. I thought it was one of the many lionesi bars that proposed cultural activities and a minimum of service to drink something during or after an event. with great surprise, coming back other times, I discovered that not only was a great restaurant, but that also offered excellent dishes of lionese slightly revisited cuisine. If you've already experienced a lion's bouchon, you won't be able to experience this little restaurant on the slopes of the Croix-Rousse, that is the slopes of one of the lion's symbol districts. the local is not huge and to ensure a table it is appropriate to book (you will find a booking form on their site, in case you did not speak French http://www.labelleequipe.info/reservation-en-ligne/, but I recommend you to request your table at least a few days before, to be sure to receive a confirmation.) the strong dish of the house is the gratin dauphinois (a gratin of potatoes the card is also suitable for vegetarians who will find numerous alternatives, while for vegans it will be appropriate to agree with some alternatives with the kitchen. Unfortunately, lion is the gastronomic capital of France and almost all restaurants offering traditional cuisine often forget the needs of vegans and vegetarians. It's a place where I go often when I go back to lion, especially for the convivivial atmosphere. absolutely recommended!

for a party between friends, we came to eat here and we were disappointed. The place is certainly rather nice but the patronage showed itself particularly unpleasant (when my friend asked what was in the hot goat salad because it is allergic to certain foods, the patrone replied with contempt "ben of the salad and goat !"). Moreover, the card is very poor (choice between gratins or hamburger or beef tartare, and basta) at prices that are a little high (13€ for a gratin including potatoes, garlic, cream and a single cheese.) for me, I took the beef tartare and I was disappointed: I was brought the condiments to make it impossible to make it. and there were only qqs capers, no red onion or shallot. bof. my friends didn't find their burger either. Too bad. I advise this place for meals (after, I can't judge theatre evenings.)

café-theatre restaurant on the red cross or it blows a wind of freedom and bohemian. artists of all kinds, painters, singers, actors that you can find regularly. Exhibitions of paintings on the walls, shows in the back room of the restaurant or the bosses itself gives concerts and or an improvisation theatre troupe officie on the 3rd Wednesday of each.I recommend you the gratin to different cheeses, hamburgers houses and meat very well cooked...

We arrived in Lyon late and after settling into our hotel we took a walk to find a drink and a light evening snack. In what was obviously a theatre and university district we came this delightful little place with street art on the external walls and a vibrant young crowd spilling out onto the footpath. Inside we were welcomed by friendly staff who quickly were keen to have us try the local craft beers and experience the range of local potato-based food. We finished our meal and were offered an after dinner drink by the owner. We reciprocated for the owner, his wife and the chef and were rewarded with the wife bursting into song for us. Typically of some Aussies we were last to leave. A great way to spend our first evening in Lyon.

an establishment that bears its name. The digestive is easily offered against a smile and sympathy. the resto is characteristic of the Lyon caps of the slopes of the red cross: top of ceiling revisiting the aesthetics of the bistrot, it offers qlq expos and a small terrace. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the kitchen is both simple and original, here we serve small gratins of potato covered with a bed of amazing products, home desserts are also very good.
