Représenté un bon rapport qualité prix, service lent, treize euros pour trois plats il est difficile de se plaindre. Nous avons mangé du canard et même si ce n'était pas le meilleur que nous ayons jamais mangé, c'était acceptable. Le plateau de fromages et la crème brûlée étaient un délice. Les toilettes nécessitent une certaine attention pour les remettre à un niveau raisonnable et notamment le manque d'eau pour se laver les mains. Il manquait le robinet !
Located in Place Jean Jaures where there are perhaps 10 cafes serving lunch and dinner, we flipped a coin and tried Lavista. It proved to be a very nice selection. I chose the Beouf Tartare and my wife chose carpaccio of beouf. Both were served in generous portions and with Frites (french fries). The Tartare had a very rich flavor to it with many rich ingredients added. The Carpaccio was served only with drizzled olive oil. Both were from the blackboard in front fo the restaurant and each was 11.50 Euro. The inside of the restaurant is tiny and all of the diners were seated outside. The service was excellent, very efficient, unobtrusive and friendly. It was a very busy day in the city. La Halles is just up the road 1 block. Crowds were out but we were able to walk in and have a very enjoyable meal without waiting. The restaurant and staff were also very dog friendly. Go and enjoy a meal here.
