Le Chalet d'Clair

We have been to this restaurant many times and the long serving staff remember us! Upstairs it has a cosy log burner surrounded by comfy armchairs and this year they had also added a corner for the kids to relax on beanbags. The food is always delicious. I particularly like the salads. Their Chantilly topped hot chocolates are fantastic although this year they had some green marshmallows on top which were not quite so good. on the last day of the holiday the normal marshmallows had returned so I suspect that they will not be ordering the green ones again! On this particular visit the snow was past its best in Morillon but we still skied there quite a lot in order to stop at Chalet D'Clair.

Sit outside in the sun, or inside with the fire, Clair's is a lovely place to be. Unless you book a table aim to be there either early or later in the day. Beer, vin chaud and hot chocolate are all excellent. Service is reasonable depending on how busy things are.The only downside is that the toilet is downstairs which is hard work in ski boots

Got off a wet, windy cold chair lift... & was met by a friendly welcoming upbeat team.Simple lunch done well, Yum French Onion Soup, with a huge cheesy crouton / Ham & Chip's - thick slices of local ham.. All very simple, but done just right & served with efficiency and fun.

Very popular restaurant - best to book if you can. Waited about 15 minutes for a table which was fine. Sat outside. Food was great. Lovely atmosphere. Live music on the terrace. Great burger. Amazing crème brulee! Would definitely return if skiing in the area again

Always go here - great food, fab sun terrace and peaceful - lovely service... try their carbonara it is the best!
