We ordered our food and drinks after being seated. 20 minutes later, still no drinks bought to the table. People behind us and next to us, despite being seated some while after us had received their orders. Eventually, our drinks arrived. I politely asked what the happened to our order. Waitress said she would get the manager. Manager came out and tried to tell us the table next to us had only received their starters. They were eating large plates of chicken and chips. I love a Nando’s so was looking forward to our visit to this local branch I always order chicken pineapple in a pitta however was told they had no pittas today so I asked if I could have the same just without the pitta ? Not possible so ended up having a grilled chicken breast much more expensive and was charged extra for a salad. The food arrived and the chicken was tiny size of a chicken nugget no dressing on the salad and chips cold. We always order take away to Nandos in Friars Newport from deliveroo, the chicken were still hot, nice ang juicy, with extra sauces when delivered to us. But recently we"re not happy with the foods because the Chicken was cold, burned and dry. You need to drink straight away when you eat because it's hard to swallow. No extra sauces supplies. We could have ask to return it but we don't want the delivery man to be disturbed as they are doing hard work using the bicycle. We will order again for the last time to give a chance if the foods will be delivered with what we expect but if we have the same problems, we won't order again as the amount of money you pay it's not worth.
Ordered food on my phone. Once the food came it became apparent I had missed my meal off. Lewis I think it was (the manager) came over and asked if there was anything else. I mentioned my meal and he said it wasn’t on the order and then quickly made me one within minutes and put some extra chips one the side too! Really appreciated the quick response was great to be able to eat with everyone else. At the end of our meal there was my wrap that had been made accidentally twice so he kindly gave us that to take home. Lovely staff. Covid safe. Definitely a great place to go. Thank you ! This Nando's location is quite average. We primarily choose to dine here because of the free and convenient parking, as opposed to paying for parking at the Friars Walk location (which we prefer). Due to current COVID measures, there may be a bit of a wait for a table, which is understandable. The food quality is good, but the service can be inconsistent. Additionally, we find the prices to be on the higher side for what is offered.
Food came out half hour late staff didn’t say it was going to be late.. it was warm ish chips was cold not hot the salad was just lettuce with two cucumbers and 2 tomatoes finally the chicken was dry. I love Nando’s and have been to many up and down the country but this so the worst I have ever had.
