Very very nice Brazilian place, family run (Pai in the kitchen, Mai serving, daughter in law singing and playing fabulous bossa, son on drums-caipirinha-and-service!). We were welcomed genuinely and friendly. We had fair traditional feijoada and moqueca- home feel, and more than honest caipirinhas prepared with love ! Will be back in couple of weeks ! And most of all, and rare in Nice : open late!(kitchen closes at 11.30pm!). Very much worth a try or two!

Food wasnt so delicious, not worth the price. Customer service very slow. High prices, for example 500 ml table water - 3 eur. Appetizers combination cost 18,50 eur.

A really nice restaurant in Nice????. The food was made with love and you can taste it. Perfekt avstånd från vårt hotell. Brasiliansk musik och trevliga ägare. Väl värt ett besök.

Dropped in on Valentine's and they fitted us in before our Carnaval time and the food was wonderful. The rice and flavours, the cocktails, and all served as a lovely musician played and sang softly behind us.

I have eaten at Sol Maior several times and have yet to be disappointed. They have delicious, exotic brazilian dishes, a lively atmosphere and very friendly and hospitable staff.

It was about as honest as you could get. Open kitchen, basic service and menu. You got the brazil vibe with some nice music and typical simple dishes. For the money, it was great value!

We have eaten out for the last five nights, this restaurant was the best. Subtle live music, and I had the Feijoada (traditional Brazilian food) the other three in our party had a variety of foods (lots of coconut and honey, lemon etc) and the house wine is good as well, when in France apparently you must try Brazilian! Hope you enjoy!!
