It is shocking that this restaurant refers to itself as “gourmand restaurant”. It didn’t differ in any way from a simple bistrot except that the left us waiting over an hour for our main course. Needless to say the quality of the food did not excuse the long waiting period.Too many things went wrong the evening we went there. The wine was placed on the table without a comment. Normally you would expect, the waiter to pour the wine and to let you taste the wine. This “gourmand restaurant” seems to see that as needless and lets you hanging on a bottle of poor wine. We ended up drinking it anyways in order to bridge the waiting time and to wash away the bad aftertaste of the starters and to wash down the dry tasteless bread. The wine also helped to endure the horrible live music.I only ordered a salad as a main course. When the salad arrived I stared searching for the salad on my plate because there was only a lump of pink colored cheese and two leaves of lettuce to be found. The others ordered dishes with meat and left them basically untouched because it was not eatable. We were all relieved when the dinner was at last over and went for a couple of drinks and dessert in the great bar/restaurant right beside this one. In case you do visit this restaurant despite my comments, make sure to take your own napkin with you because the tissues they place on the table are pointless.
