We came with a group of people with children and were surprised by the poor quality of the food. The meat was disgusting, the salad not even washed properly and the price for the children's menu (some fries and a sausage for 8 Euro) way...More

Well done fish menu on Good Friday in an open space next to the basicila. Other rather traditional dishes also looked quite good, worth to be checked out.

We were really surprised at how great the food was at this bistro. It was a very simple dinner menu, we just had a main and dessert and a carafe of wine and it came to less than 40€. I had the duck which was sliced but really tender and best chips we've had in France, and the mousse au chocolate was delicious.

The only positive about this restaurant is the price and its location by the river with views of the Cathedral. We came for lunch and chose a first course and a main. The first course was a simple but tasty salad. Pity that the bread is served in a plastic basket. The main course was a bland piece of chicken served with undercooked rice and a cream sauce. I cook better at home on my worst day! Such a pity that they of not make more of the prime spot they have at Paray le Monial. Many people also could not get a table in the shadow on a day with very high temperatures. (30 degrees Celsius)

La nourriture était basique, le service honteux et l'attitude de Monsieur ne pouvait être améliorée que par Fawlty Towers, mais sans humour.

we have enjoyed a good compromise hotel breakfast. the hotel is part of the group inter hotel. the rooms would need a renovation: the carpet makes the environment not pleasant, with smell of old. Too bad because it is all clean, a little vintage bathroom, great breakfast in the room in the new wing. convenient garage behind the hotel. everything you need to see is within a short walk. the restaurant.
