Ragazzi Da Peppone

The food was predictable, and pretty good. The trouble was that we had two gluten free vegetarians in our group and the restaurant could not do much more than offer salad... our friends brought their own pasta, but the restaurant would not cook it fine. But after that, every question or idea for a substation was met with No. They ultimately allowed us to add cheese to one of the salads, but they treated it as a second salad so the g free folks had piles of plates in front of them. We could tell the waiters wanted to help, so we have to guess that the owner is old fashioned and does not really care about customers. The deserts were tasty, though.

We 've eaten here a few times, and each time I leave with the same impression: the food is very good and fresh, but the 'we don 't need to worry about customers because we 're part of Peppone ' attitude of the welcome serving staff grates each time. It also seems to be something that is trained into the team, they all develop it after working there for a while! Yes, the food is good (I recommend their pasta), yes the choice is good, and the cadre is pleasant, but please try to climb down a step to the level of your apparently dumb customers.

Well, first things first ... CREAM in Carbonara??? REALLY??? Anyway, food was good (we took pizzas) not like in Napoli. But we weren’t expecting much. Desserts looked better on the menu than in the fridge. Waiter forgot to note our dessert order so we waited for 10 mins for nothing (the place was quite empty at this late hour).

Very nice lunch, assortment of ham, salami and salad. friendly. Advice a tour downstairs to the toilet through the vine cellar and all the ham hanging to mature.

Rapide, agréable, une très bonne cuisine 100% italienne. We are often there. Good view on the river.
